I’m Dean G. Propst, and Tides & Truth is a place I created to share some of my writing, thoughts, photographs, and whatever else finds its way here.

Some pieces are more finished than others. Some are things I’ve spent time working through, and others are simply things I wanted to get out of my head and put somewhere.

Chart a Course

Morning Drift (where my thoughts drift). An ongoing, usually monthly collection of thoughts, observations, stories, and whatever happens to drift through my head.

The Wrack (what the tide leaves behind). Photographs of things that caught my eye along the way.

Jetsam (things deliberately thrown overboard). My reflections on sobriety, recovery, and the things I’ve chosen to let go of.
